About OzVolley

The Australian, and some of the world’s, Volleyball community had a spectacular place to share the news, share their views, and to stay in contact with the sport they love.

As a person who was a daily visitor to Devo’s volleyball blog, I would like to start this blog by taking the time to thank him for his tireless work in bringing the volleyball community together.

What was so very special about that blog was not just the news, which was updated post haste, or the distinct bias towards the Victorians. What made it so special was the community which is served, the community which called it home, and the volleyball community in Australia who want not only a place for news, but a place where they can have a voice.

Welcome to the OzVolleyCommunity. A place for your news, a place for your voice, and a place that I hope people can share their volleyball passion!!

You will notice some similarities between this and Devo’s blog, its not accident, I thank him very much for his advice and content that he has provided.

  3. Hi mate,
I’m from WA and have been working in England for 8 years at a school in Essex. Can you stick our website up please? http://www.tendringvolleyball.com We were fortunate enough to have Chris Todd come over and play with us for a few weeks last year and are more than happy to accomodate anyone that wants to play whilst over here on holiday! Our club currently has a mens and womens team competing in the 2nd division of the English National League having been promoted last year. I did really enjoy reading Devo’s blog and have quickly begun to follow this one!
    Cheers,
    Chinners.

  4. Hey Mick,
Can you please change the name of the Spike Mag link to Spike Online? Also we’re no longer a commercial operation in any way shape or form. Not sure what category that puts us in.

Anyway the site is firing up again (this time for good). Twitter is firing away. I’m in touch with coaches/players etc and hoping to pump out as much volleyball news as I can get my hands on.

Also some big layout changes on the way in the next week or so.

Will be adding a links page shortly and will make sure that OzVolley is on there!

Thanks… sorry for the long post
    Josh
